Sole Music Collective

The road to making a living and preventing stagnation in artistic growth is a delicate struggle. We must never stop learning, but so many artists are deprived from formal learning opportunities because of finances. Artists face a unique obstacle in which they find themselves unable to continue their education because they cannot afford to pay for classes, or cannot afford to take off from work to take class. If this sounds like you, it’s time that you #GetInClass. The #GetInClass Scholarship Fund was started by Hillary-Marie to assist full-time professional tap dancers (over the age of 21 and in financial need) who are looking to nourish their tap dance education. Requests may include funds for private lessons, master classes, festivals, etc.

This scholarship is appropriate for full-time professional tap dancers (performer, choreographer, teacher, director, etc.) over the age of 21 who have the ability to prove that they are full-time tap dance artists not currently enrolled in a university or certificate program. All applicants must submit a completed online application – incomplete applications will not be considered. Scholarship funds will be paid out to the event, not the scholarship recipient.

Application is not available at this time, please check back soon.
